Brief
HRS Services are a nationwide engineering company who offer building inspection and maintenance throughout the UK. HRS are one of the UK’s largest companies that supply air tightness testing as required under Part L of the building regulations. The air tightness testing that HRS undertakes involves using a large fan to pressurise a building envelope and measuring the pressure differences that occur within the building to figure out how airtight the building is as a whole.
Inflecto Systems were contacted by HRS to upgrade and update an old VB6 application that HRS use to calculate the air tightness of buildings.
Solution
Inflecto Systems updated and improved upon the original application as per HRS’s instructions.
Outcome
The upgrade was a success and to our knowledge the application is still used on all HRS’s air tightness projects.
